\u7b2c\u4e00\u6279\u7684\u60a3\u8005\u5728\u6f5c\u4f0f\u671f\u65f6\u53ef\u4ee5\u611f\u67d3\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u4eba\uff0c\u8fd9\u90e8\u5206\u4eba\u4e5f\u53ef\u4ee5\u4e8c\u8f6e\u611f\u67d3\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u5e76\u4e14\u6240\u6709\u8fd9\u4e9b\u7ee7\u53d1\u75c5\u4f8b\u90fd\u5177\u6709\u8f83\u957f\u7684\u6f5c\u4f0f\u671f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u8fd9\u610f\u5473\u7740\u8981\u4e00\u4e2a\u6708\u7684\u65f6\u95f4\uff0c\u4ee5\u786e\u4fdd\u4e0d\u4f1a\u5c06\u8f93\u5165\u578b\u60a3\u8005\u5e26\u5165\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u5883\u5185\u7684\u75c5\u6bd2\u4f20\u64ad\u7ed9\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u5883\u5185\u7684\u5176\u4ed6\u4eba\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5373\u4f7f\u7b2c\u4e00\u6ce2\u7ed3\u675f\u4e86\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4e5f\u5e94\u8be5\u7559\u610f\u4e4b\u540e\u7684\u6ce2\u6f9c\u3002\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u76ee\u524d\u53ea\u5bf9\u8fd114\u5929\u5185\u5230\u8fc7\u4e2d\u56fd\u7684\u65c5\u5ba2\uff08\u65e0\u8bba\u662f\u4e2d\u56fd\u4eba\u8fd8\u662f\u5176\u4ed6\u5916\u56fd\u4eba\uff09\u5236\u5b9a\u4e86\u5165\u5883\u7981\u4ee4\uff0c\u552f\u4e00\u7684\u4f8b\u5916\u662f\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u4eba\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u5176\u4ed6\u5728\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u957f\u671f\u5c45\u4f4f\u6216\u5de5\u4f5c\u7684\u4eba\u3002\u90a3\u4e9b\u88ab\u5141\u8bb8\u56de\u5761\u7684\u4eba\u5c06\u88ab\u9694\u79bb\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4e1c\u76df\u5185\u90e8\u4e5f\u53ef\u80fd\u6709\u4e00\u4e9b\u6848\u4f8b\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\u6211\u4eec\u53ef\u80fd\u4f1a\u770b\u5230\u4e1c\u76df\u7684\u7b2c\u4e09\u6ce2\u6d6a\u6f6e\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u76ee\u524d\uff0c\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u6b63\u5728\u6cbb\u7597\u8fd9\u4e9b\u60a3\u8005\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u7684\u75c5\u60c5\u7a33\u5b9a\u4e14\u6b63\u5728\u6539\u5584\uff0c\u8fd9\u662f\u4e2a\u597d\u6d88\u606f\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u540c\u65f6\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u4ecd\u5e94\u7ee7\u7eed\u8fdb\u884c\u6240\u6709\u7684\u51c6\u5907\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u4ee5\u9632\u6700\u7ec8\u51fa\u73b02009\u5e74\u7684H1N1\u6d41\u611f\u7684\u60c5\u51b5\uff0c\u8fd9\u79cd\u75c5\u5728\u5168\u7403\u4f20\u64ad\uff0c\u4ec5\u5728\u7f8e\u56fd\u5c31\u9020\u621012,000\u591a\u4eba\u6b7b\u4ea1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u79d1\u5b66\u5bb6\u548c\u4e34\u5e8a\u7814\u7a76\u4eba\u5458\u6b63\u5728\u6293\u7d27\u65f6\u95f4\u6d4b\u8bd5\u548c\u751f\u4ea7\u65b0\u7684\u6cbb\u7597\u836f\u7269\u3001\u5f00\u53d1\u75ab\u82d7\u3001\u5feb\u901f\u7b80\u4fbf\u7684\u8bca\u65ad\u8bd5\u5242\u76d2\uff0c\u4ee5\u9632\u6b62\u6709\u8fdb\u4e00\u6b65\u5927\u89c4\u6a21\u7684\u7206\u53d1\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2\u67083\u65e5\u82f1\u6587\u539f\u6587\uff1a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incubation can be up to 13\ndays, hence, a quarantine period of 14 days to see if symptoms appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most patients have shorter\nincubation, with half having incubation of less than 6 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wuhan essentially self-quarantined\nthe entire city on 23 January.  It\u2019ll\ntake2-3 more days to reach the 1st 14-day cycle of any import cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, we also have to track\nthe people who may have close contacts with the imported patients.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Depending on the last known\ndate of contact with any current imported patient, we should wait at least 1\nmore 14-day cycle, or 2 more cycles if we are kiasu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is bcos patients can be\ninfectious before they feel unwell, and can infect a few more who may infect a\nfew more, and in case all these secondary cases all have long incubation\nperiods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means a month to know for\nsure that the imported patients didn\u2019t spread to others within SG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even if this wave is clear, we\nshould watch for further waves, as SG only institute new entry bans for anyone\nwho has been to China within 14 days of coming to SG, whether of Chinese or\nother foreigners. The only exceptions are Singaporeans, and others living or\nworking in Singapore on long term passes. \nThose who are allowed back in would be quarantined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also there may be cases within\nAsean, andso we may see third waves from Asean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, we are managing, and\nthe patients in SG are stable and improving. So that is good news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, we should still\ncontinue all the preparations in case this ends up like the 2009 H1N1 flu that\nstarted with pigs in USA, which reverberated around the world, and caused over\n12,000 deaths in USA alone. The death rate was low, but becos it was very\neasily transmitted, 10sof millions got sick, and about a quarter million were\nhospitalised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So scientists and clinician\nresearchers are racing to try to test and produce new treatment drugs, while\nothers are pushing fast to develop vaccines or fast and simple to use\ndiagnostic kits, in case of a massive outbreak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2\u67082\u65e5\u8138\u4e66\u8bd1\u6587\uff1a<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u65e0\u8bba\u662f\u5728\u6b66\u6c49\uff0c\u65b0\u52a0\u5761\u8fd8\u662f\u5728\u4e1c\u76df\u5176\u4ed6\u5730\u533a\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u90fd\u5fc5\u987b\u5168\u529b\u652f\u6301\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u533b\u751f\uff0c\u62a4\u58eb\u548c\u4e00\u7ebf\u533b\u52a1\u4eba\u5458\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5982\u679c\u6211\u4eec\u6279\u8bc4\u4ed6\u4eec\uff0c\u8d23\u5907\u4ed6\u4eec\uff0c\u8fd9\u5bf9\u60a3\u8005\u5bb6\u4eba\u6ca1\u6709\u4efb\u4f55\u5e2e\u52a9\uff0c\u5bf9\u6574\u4e2a\u793e\u4f1a\u4e5f\u6ca1\u6709\u5e2e\u52a9\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5176\u95f4\u4e0d\u4e4f\u6709\u597d\u5fc3\u4eba\u732e\u7231\u5fc3\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u6709\u7684\u9910\u5385\u6bcf\u5929\u505a\u996d\u7ed9\u533b\u9662\u9001\u9910\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether in Wuhan, Singapore,\nor anywhere else in Asean, we must give full support to our doctors, nurses and\nfrontline medical staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scolding them, blaming them,\nbeating them don\u2019t help us if we or our family members are sick, and don\u2019t help\nthe rest of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, there are good souls,\nlike the restaurant cooking and delivering food to the hospital everyday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where we can help, we must.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best help is to stay calm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I salute everyone in Wuhan and\nin the other affected cities in Hubei province, who are working flat out in\ndifferent ways to help, but especially the medical teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
