1960年出身于印尼。李棕博士（Dr.Stephen Riady）现任华联企业（OUE Ltd）的执行主席。主要业务在新加坡、中国内地以及马来西亚经营零售产业、商用产业、住宅产业、酒店零售店铺与租赁、商用办公楼等资产。华联企业的大股东是印尼著名企业——力宝集团（Lippo Group），李棕也是力宝集团成员公司总裁。
目前，李棕是力宝有限公司主席，力宝华润有限公司主席，以及香港华人有限公司执行董事。这三家公司均在香港交易所主板上市。除此之外，自2006年，李棕也担任了另家新加坡上市公司——Auric Pacific Group Limited的执行董事。
在公共服务领域，李棕受到卓越的认可。他是中国福建省经济促进委员会委员；香港大学教研发展基金会的创建荣誉顾问，香港义务工作基金的创建赞助人和信托人，香港明天更好基金委员会委员，一国两制研究中心咨询委员会委员，英国爱丁堡公爵世界奖学基金会理事，美国麻省理工 斯隆商学院顾问团成员。他也是香港浸会大学咨询委员会委员。
此外，李棕曾荣膺法国政府颁发的文学和艺术骑士勋章。他也获得中国深圳市政府授予的“荣誉市民”称号。

Dr.Stephen Riady is the Executive Chairman of OUE Ltd. Appointed Executive Chairman of OUE on 9 March 2010. He was last re-elected as a Director at the Annual General Meeting held on 29 April 2014.
Member of the Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee of each of Lippo Limited, Lippo China Resources Limited and Hongkong Chinese Limited.
Served as Executive Director of Auric Pacific Group Limited since 2006. Also a member of the Nomination Committee of Auric Pacific Group Limited.
His service to society includes civic engagements such as Founding Honorary Advisor of the University of Hong Kong Foundation for Education Development and Research; Patron and Trustee of The Incorporated Trustees of Volunteer Service Trust, member of the Board of Trustees of The Better Hong Kong Foundation; Fellow of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award World Fellowship; Member of the Advisory Board of Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, United States.
He is also a member of the committee to promote economic co-operation between Fujian and Hong Kong, a committee established by the Provincial Government of Fujian, PRC.

He is also a strong supporter of community and social development in Singapore. Committed to helping various social organisations meet their targets.
